Common questions
When can I play?
Pip's Compass is coming soon to the App Store for iPhone and iPad. This page will link to the store listing as soon as it is live.
Is it free?
Yes, it is free to download and play. It shows ads, some of which you can choose to watch for a reward, and offers optional packs of spirit stones — the game's only currency — through the App Store.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. The levels play offline. Ads and the shop need a connection.
Is my progress saved?
Yes, on your device, and in your own iCloud when you are signed in, so it follows you to your other iPhone or iPad. There is no account to make.
Can I play in Vietnamese?
Yes. Open Settings and choose Tiếng Việt under Language; the whole game, story included, is written in both languages.
Is it on Android?
Not at the moment: Pip's Compass is for iPhone and iPad.
I ran out of lives.
You have up to five lives, and one comes back every 30 minutes. You can also refill them with spirit stones, or watch an ad for a free life.
A purchase didn't arrive.
Purchases go through the App Store and are added to your spirit stones as soon as Apple confirms them. If one did not arrive, email us with the date and the pack you bought.
My progress isn't on my new iPhone or iPad.
Progress is synced through iCloud. Sign in to the same Apple Account on both devices, make sure iCloud is turned on, and open the game while connected.
Why does the game ask to track me?
That is Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt for the ads. Allowing it lets ads be more relevant to you; whatever you choose, you can play the whole game.
