Pip's Compass

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 13 October 2026

This policy explains how Pip's Compass ("the app"), made by ISEMI Company Limited ("ISEMI", "we"), handles your information. The short version: we run no servers and do not collect personal data ourselves. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, purchases go through Apple, and your progress is saved on your device and in your own iCloud.

Information we collect

We do not collect, store or receive any personal data. The app has no accounts, no sign-in, no analytics and no crash-reporting service, and it sends no data to us.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app is free and shows ads from Google AdMob: an occasional full-screen ad between levels, and ads you choose to watch for a reward, such as extra moves, a life or spirit stones.

To deliver ads, limit how often they appear, measure them and prevent fraud, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect information such as your IP address (used for approximate location), device model and operating system, advertising and app-instance identifiers, and ad interaction and diagnostic data.

On iPhone and iPad, the app asks your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before your device's advertising identifier can be used to personalise ads. If you do not allow it, ads are not based on tracking you across other companies' apps and websites. Whatever you choose, the whole game stays playable. You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.

Players in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are shown Google's consent message before ads are served.

This data is collected and processed by Google under its own policies: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services (https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites) and the Google Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy).

In-app purchases

The app offers optional packs of spirit stones. They are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your name, Apple Account, card or other payment details. When a purchase completes, Apple gives the app a transaction ID, which the app keeps with your progress so that each purchase is delivered exactly once.

Your progress and iCloud

To remember your game, the app saves your progress — levels, stars and scores, spirit stones, boosters, lives, the record of your purchases and how far you are in the story — on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the same save is copied to your own iCloud storage so that it follows you to your other devices. That copy is held by Apple under your Apple Account; we cannot access it.

Daily gifts, the lucky wheel and ad counters stay on your device only. Deleting the app deletes the progress on that device; the iCloud copy is managed in your iCloud settings.

Permissions

The only permission the app may ask for is tracking, for the ads described above. It does not ask for access to your location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone, and it sends no notifications.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the app, contact us and we will help.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app changes how it handles data, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date at the top of this page.
