This policy explains how Harpoon Hunt: Sea Monsters ("the app", formerly Coastal Defense - Sea Monster), made by ISEMI Company Limited ("ISEMI", "we"), handles your information. The short version: the app has no accounts and sends nothing to us; its optional rewarded ads are provided by Google AdMob, which collects some device data as described below.
Information we collect
We do not collect, store or receive any personal data. The app has no accounts, no sign-in and no analytics of our own, and it does not send any data to us.
Advertising
The app offers optional rewarded ads: you can choose to watch an ad to receive an in-game reward. These ads are provided by Google AdMob (Google LLC). When an ad is requested or shown, Google's Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, information about the ads you see and interact with, and crash and performance data. Google uses this data to serve, measure and improve ads and to prevent fraud, as described in Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and at https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Before the first ad, iOS asks whether the app may track you (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, your advertising identifier is not shared; you can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before any ad is requested, and you can change your choices later in the game's Settings (Ad privacy choices).
Watching ads is never required to play. With an active VIP pass, these rewards are given without watching ads.
In-app purchases
The app offers optional in-app purchases. They are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store; we never see your name, Apple ID, card or other payment details. When a purchase completes, Apple tells the app which item was bought and gives it a transaction ID. The app keeps that ID on your device only, so each purchase is delivered exactly once. Every item is consumable, so there is nothing to restore.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders on your device (for example when your idle rewards are ready). They are local notifications: no push server is involved and nothing is sent to us. You can turn them off in the game's Settings or in iOS Settings at any time.
Data stored on your device
To remember your progress, the app keeps a save file on your device: levels cleared, heroes, items, settings (such as language, music and sound) and similar game state. This file never leaves your device through the app. It may be included in the backups your device makes (for example iCloud Backup), which are handled by Apple under your own settings. The record of your purchases is kept in the same file. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Permissions
The app may ask for two optional permissions: to send notifications, for the reminders above, and to allow tracking for ads (App Tracking Transparency), described under Advertising. The game works fully without either. It does not ask for access to your location services, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or any other personal information on your device.
Children
The app does not ask for or collect personal data from anyone, including children. The ads described above are provided by Google under Google's policies.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes how it handles data, we will update this policy before that version is released and change the date at the top of this page.
